Beyond the Surface – A contemporary Art Collective

Beyond the Surface – A contemporary Art Collective a process- led screen printing programme culminating in an exhibibition of their work for Cruinniú na nÓg, aimed at engaging young people in a hands-on, self discovery creative journey. Through a series of workshops participants will learn every stage of screen printing: developing their self-portrait designs, layering their artworks, exposing and burning screens, printing onto canvas, along with framing and hanging their own designs as an art collective. The group will gain insight into art curation by collaboratively planning and installing their own exhibition, learning professional display techniques and getting valuable hands-on experience of life as an artist in their formative years.
