CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Through a series of workshops and creative exchanges, members of Emerging Limerick Filmmakers, Kildare Young Filmmakers, Magnet Newry Film Group, and Solas Young Filmmakers will come together to develop their skills and deepen their filmmaking practice. Along the way, they will share their sense of place, personal stories, and lived experiences, culminating in a collaboratively developed film script, an on‑location shoot, a post‑production edit, and finally a cinematic screening of the completed work.

On the 6 of June, for Cruinniú na nÓg day, the groups will each join an online scriptwriting and workshop led by facilitators from Limerick, Kildare and Newry.

This creative journey will bring the filmmakers into one another’s home places, offering fresh perspectives and fostering meaningful connections, while providing valuable learning opportunities led by professional facilitators. United by a shared creative vision, the filmmakers will quite literally Share the Lens, collaborating to tell powerful stories through moving images and inviting audiences to experience the world as they see it.
